What is the difference between the 05-06 and 07-08 intakes? I was lookin at one for the tC but it's off of a 06. It's a K&N intake, and I was wondering if there was any way that it would work or if it's just a snow balls chance in hell. Let me know so I can adjust my ignorance.

it's amazing that minor changes like that would warrant a completely new intake. is that why they changed the s/c as well?
did this change improve the stock performance of the 07+ tC's over the 06-?

One and only difference is the sensor. It is an updated design with different electrical characteristics than the '05-06 models. It has a smaller footprint. The ECM is also pinned slightly different because of this and the fact that all 2007-up cars are Federally mandated to be 100% CAN compliant. The '05-06 are hybrids as they are OBDII modules with CAN capabilities. That is why the OBD gauges like the Greddy Intelligent Informeter, the MSD Dashhawk, and the Blitz R-Vit don't work; pins #6/#14 aren't populated.
.......My Dashhawk works great in my Son's RS3.0
