The Tanabe unit would be a good one if you like to keep the sound down low. Not many people are running them, but have not heard anything bad about them. I believe that it is also a glass-pack. One thing to watch out for in any glass-pack is that the fiberglass fibers can be ejected from the muffler under high pressure, ie you are shooting juice, running big bumpsticks, or boosting.

The Greddy Evo2 is a choice for many. It will be louder, for sure, but the quality is excellent. A warning though; with that big can, you might have issues with it smacking things if your dropped beyond 2".

These are just my subjective observations, no hands-on experience, though I have seen both on a tC. Everyone else please chime in.

yea the choice of most is the greddy. but do something different if you dare! like navy said, there arent many people with the Tanabe exhaust so you'll be pretty unique. i got the Injen exhaust and i haven't bumped into another tC with one yet!

As far as I know and firmly believe, there are no difference in the exhaust. Atleast nothing that would prevent any fitment.
