thats a stand alone .. it replaces ur stock ECU
i bought one (WOLF) .. waitin to install it .. hasn't arrived yet
its REALLY good wen runnin boost
it eliminates all the restictions that the stock ECU causes
it's for better ignition timing fueling and maping to tune for higher boost or even race gace C10 or higher
u can use it with a N/A set-up for fuel and ignition
AEM is one of the BEST .. just MAD expensive

I think piggybacks are used mostly to cut costs with turbo kits & are a cheaper alternative to stand alones. They have limited number of uses... mostly to change ignition and fuel curves.

Stand alones are top-o-the-line systems and cost that much because they do so many things, as well as replace the stock ecu.

I'm pretty sure these are the reasons for each. I don't dabble very much in these sorts of things so if anyone can verify or correct me it'd be greatly appreciated.
