Cool tc exhaust

I'm looking for some exhaust system. I don't wanna have some monster with too heavy sound - sth softer but still nice to listen to.
I wanted to buy some aftermarket stuff but I've heard that it may mess up my warranty. So I went back to TRD stuff.
Do you think TRD is worth spending $500?
And if I decided to go with a differend stuff what would you recommend? I checked some companies - the Borla sfuff sounds nice and cost not too much - what do you think - maybe some other brands from your experience?

Thanks!!!

Hi Michal,
You should go to the Magna Flow website and check out the sound clip of the TC.... I sounds good. I was looking at the Borla one too but a friend suggested I check out the Magna Flow one... Best of luck!

the trd exhaust sounds really nice, however since its only a axle-back...your not gonna get much performance out of it...but if ure not looking for performance and just sound...then its the one to go with IMO

Heard a clip with the TRD and a magna flow resonator. It was still loud but the rasp wasp completely gone.

Default Stupid Question?

I'm looking to upgrade my '06 TC's exhaust. I know I want to go with a Fujita Cold Air Intake, Megan Header's, and Borla CatBack Exhaust. What is an Down Pipe and do I need that too?

If your are not turbo boosted (downpipe is part of the kit) then you are talking about the s-pipe. It is very restrictive and should be on your list of things to replace (keep it and all other parts for emissions testing). ZPI has well built one. I have the Megan an it didn"t fit right (Needed an adaptor), hangs too low, and is rusting on me. Of course, that could have been ver one, but their website pic shows the same exact part. The are others out on the market, but I know nothing bout them for a recommendation. You can try calling Megan and ask to see if they fixed their issues or go with the ZPI piece. Your choice.

For the exhaust I'd recommend the MagnaFlow. It sounds good, is easy to install and is relatively inexpensive.

For the guy looking at S-Pipes you should also check out Invidia. They have a very nicely made and inexpensive product.
