Default ECU chips?

anyone find any half decent ecu chips that actually adds hp to ur car? they got those piece of **** performance chips everywhere!..they claim adds 30-40 hp...but ummmmmmmmmm...hell no!....lol...maby 2-3 if ur lucky...and i know uni-chip makes a half ok one and their r a few other companys out their...but im just checking if theirs any better ones out their that i missed...anyone have any opinion on this ....

If you add just a piggyback ECU (hell, any ECU) and don't upgrade the internals, you won't get much out of it. You add bigger injectors and a clearer header, you might get an additional 10-15 hp... change the exhaust and you get yourself that last 15hp that the ECU claims.

Make sure to look closely at the ECU descriptions and never assume that Programs will give you that much more output without doing something to the fuel system components first.
