Default Upgrading Exhaust

Hi
I am a newbie to car personalization but I do not mind being shown the ropes. I have a 2005 tC and I already have an Injen Air intake. I want to upgrade the exhaust, what are some good recommendations? I do not mind spending money for a good quality product. What will give me a nice sound with a solid increase in performance. Also where I can buy one from a reputable source. thanx!

I do not want loud exhaust with no performance gains and vice versa. Also something that sounds good at first but then just gets plain annoying. Any tips??? Also what is a s-pipe? is that what keeps emissions low?? like I said I a new to this so I would greatly appreciate all the advice...

Taco

If you want the best for the scion tc, then go with the
HKS Hi-Power Exhaust - Sound exhaust but improves performance
(sound clip) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZvdkr3S5P4 (w/ the Injen CAI.
Greddy Turbo-back Exhaust -Main Key, performance, then sound
(sound clip) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_upWMXPaujE

have anymore questions, just pm me. I DO my homework

the s-pipe is the exhaust pipe in the exhaust that connects to your engine. And no this is not what keeps emissions low

HKS may sound good, but it's only an axle. If you want a good axle, get the GReddy Racing Ti-C. you can purchase that on hopupracing.com If you are looking for a good catback, i'd recommend Tsudo Catback that is what i have. Performance is GREAT and by sound....trust me it's perfect. not too loud not too low. If you don't go Tsudo, i'd also recommend ARN N2 Catback, but it's like $500+ The website for the ark n2 is arkspeedracing.com For Tsudo, website is speed-element.com and it's cheap.

All this changes when you replace the OEM header.
