Angry what should i do?????

I just purchased a brand new 07 scion tc and I was wondering if there was any parts out there that I can put on my car. I've been reading other peoples pages and I've noticed that i can't use any of the other older models mods.

You can use some. Like the supercharger is different but stuff like lowering springs and exhaust and intake are the same. I have a 07 too and have a 04-06 greddy exhaust and 04-06 eibach springs. hope it helps.

What is different on the '07 from the previous models? I'm sure suspension components would be the same, and probably exhaust also, but where there engine changes?

trd and the people who makes the after market turbo kits all told me the ecu is different and the 07 has a different compression ratio.

The main changes are to the ECM and other engine control components. I know that the MAF is changed so short-ram/CAI intakes won't work on the '07 unless it specifies that it is for 2007. The ECM has different pinouts for the Crank angle sensor, Bank1/Sensor1 (wideband), and Bank1/Sensor2 (narrow O2) just to name a few. This also makes issue with the install of the TRD S/C a redesign. I believe the auto has some electronic changes too. I have not heard of a compression ratio change on the 2AZ-FE.

Guess they are trying to move the new OBDIII standards and reduce emissions further.

i don't think that it really is making any difference as far as emissions go all i can tell that they did was basically flip the position of the sensor.

Question Turbo?

I just bought an 07 tc saturday and have been researching turbo/ s/c ever since. I decided on going turbo, but can't seem to find a kit for 07s and someone told me that there are no current kits for the 07....Is this true?? Or can the ECU be upgraded to use a previous year turbo?

ok, 06 Intakes can not fit the 07 due to the MAF Sensor, so you have to buy the 07 intake. 04-06 Exhaust will fit the 07, nothing has changed, they just did not add description. Turbo Kit for 05-06 will not fit the 07 due to the intake it comes (once again, MAF Sensor) with. Header for 04-06 will fit the 07. Supercharger, 05-06 i'm not too sure bout this, but i don't think it will fit the 07. Crank Pulley and NST Pulleys for the 04-06 will fit the 07, same size. Short Shifters, things like that will fit the 07 as well. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask, if i can not answer your question i will look it up, i'm on 3 other tC forums.

Yeah, thanks man. I have been looking at ZPI turbo kits and have seen videos of 07's with them (supposedly). I am going to call them tomorrow and see what they can do for me.

They are a good group of guys. They are extremely busy and sometimes take a while to do things.
