i am looking at the injen CAI and for an 2007 it says off road use only /w MR technology. whats that mean? i mean the off road use is prolly cus emissions. but what about MR technology

it means they take no responsibility for you to use it on the road or what "could" happen to your car if you use it.

P.S. don't waste your time it doesnt fit the '07. there isnt one for the '07 yet.

yeah.. Most when manufacture say OFFROAD only means " un-certified Product emission Test ".

Yea if they say only to use it off the public streets.. that means you better know some guy who'll fake the smog check for ya, cause your car won't pass anymore.

haha ya ive been looking and found a couple of sites with them. this was the cheapest. others were like 300- 275. this one is 255 i think.

It says "offroad" cuz it's not c.a.r.b.(california air research board) certified yet. If u live in cali. u can be asked to get ur car inspected for not having a c.a.r.b. sticker on ur cai by dikhed cops at random. A cai won't affect emissions enough to make u fail. Not by a longshot.

oh alright. tight then. cus i live in FL and cops aren't that bad when it comes to emissions. (knock on wood) =] i had a 1973 cougar with no emissions.

i know this is an old thread but no one told you what MR technology was. MR technology was developed by injen to "tune" the intake. and you can find an article about it on injens website.

MR technologly basically means you have the choice to use it as a Short RAM or Cold air. Thats all it means.
