Yes, the AFR sensor is a wideband O2 sensor, your standard narrowband O2 sensor will not work.

your right but most the time you should be able to tell if somethings wrong with your car because of how its driving or smells etc...im only saying this because of the peopel who were having problems with gettting the light off..its quick and simple..but like you said there is a risk

hahaha clearly neither of you live where there are inspections. i'm jealous. When we do inspections they have to plug into the obdc-II and make sure there aren't any errors. SERIOUS PIMA!!! BUT, if you don't put a 02 sensor where the AFR goes, and you do the CEL eliminator (Weapon R or home made) the light goes away and everything works fine.

its kinda hard .. not too bad .. ur gunna need to get under ur car of course .. so a lift is recommended in my opinion
no .. u can keep the shield off .. u should heat wrap the header tho to keep the heat inside of it .. u may gain a horse or two from that .. but yea i'd get it done at a shop if u havent done it before just for saftey reasons |

Not too hard. A lift would be better but you can get to the lower mount of the OEM header with a quality floor jack and jack stands. I would remove this mount as it is not needed on most headers. Of course, if your header does make use of the lower mount, then use it. Obtain a new metal header gasket and lower donut flange gasket. JET Hot coating or wrapping would keep underhood temps down and create better cylinder scavaging for a slight power increase.
