I want to raise the rear of the car completely and bring the rear down on some jack stands. Anyone? Thanks in advance. |

Incorrect. Place the jack directly under the loop itself. It's supposed to act like a hip or shoulder joint. The curve of the loop fits inside the curve of the jack so that when you lift, it all pivots as one unit, rather than lifting on a flat surface and becoming unstable.
The pic should clear it up. This is where I lift the front and rear ends to change my wheels. |
