Default Where to Lift from the Rear?

During an Exhaust Install, I'll be needing to lift the car from the rear.

I don't use the standard car jack, I use a floor jack with the supplied stands.

On my scooby, you use the rear LSD to lift the vehicle, but where did I lift the tC from in the rear?

Is it right behind the exhaust canister where the towing hook is?

Thanks in advance!

Not lifting from the side, lifting the rear completely.

I want to raise the rear of the car completely and bring the rear down on some jack stands.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance.

There's a small loop of welded steel in the front and rear. Position the floor jack under it and lift. I'm pretty sure it mentions it in the manual. If need be, I'll snap a pic tomorrow morning and post it.

Not ON the loop, but at the steel section where the loop is, correct?

Incorrect. Place the jack directly under the loop itself. It's supposed to act like a hip or shoulder joint. The curve of the loop fits inside the curve of the jack so that when you lift, it all pivots as one unit, rather than lifting on a flat surface and becoming unstable.

The pic should clear it up.

This is where I lift the front and rear ends to change my wheels.
