well it all depends on there labor hours ..
my mechanic charges $70 an hr .. he goes into this program he has on his computer that tells approximately how many hrs it will take to get a job done .. now if he has done a job before and he can get it done in less time he will .. well thats the treatment i get lol so yea it all depends .. i got my sway bars installed but it was included with the entire turbo setup i guess .. i gotta look at my reciept again |

just a guesstimate...
the places i used to go to charged about 3 hours for springs. id assume the rear sway would be about 45 min since its so simple the front would likely be more since its a more advanced install. maybe 1.5 hours? this is just an educated guess. don't hold me to it |

after that, just unbolt where it attaches to the subframe(?) and remove. reinstall the new one in reverse order, and tighten everything down once the vehicle is on the ground, and again after a few days of driving. the front... i wouldnt do if you're not comfortable since it requires you to unbol tthe engine cradle. i'd just pay to have that installed. hope this helps... |
