I just bought an 05 tc that has ceramic brakes. I took it out for a ride today and the brakes seemed to be grinding. The car has been sitting for a couple of days while I get plates for it and I have not driven it but 1/10th of a mile. It has been raining and the discs have a bit of rust on them. My quick run up the street today produced a slight grinding noise when I braked. Is this anything I should be worried about? Thanks in advance.

Depends if the grinding noise persists.
I've worked on cars for years now, and the most common result of this is a teeny tiny little bit of gravel that gets lodged between the rotor and the pad. Which results in destroying both. So..... If it persists get it checked out.
