What does "not too costly" mean?

i think the hotchkis set is the best product overall for quality. the braces fit the first time with no problems. and the prices are i guess in the middle of the cheap ones and trd. look around the forum, i think most people go with either hotchkis or trd.

You want a sway bay (attaches to struts) or or strut bar (attaches to upper strut mounting points)?

You can get a lower rear sway for under $200 & its supposed to be one of the best handling upgrades available.

Are you referring to a sway bar or a tower strut?

They are two entirely different things.

For sway bars and lowering springs, I am going with the Hotchkis TVS I set, just waiting until I can comfortably buy it!

For a front strut tower brace, i went with a megan racing one and am waiting for it to arrive.

I will post a review once I have it installed.

Not sure if the Megan racing piece is like most others (or like it's own headers w/ the super thick flange), but be careful that you get atleast one thread (2 recommended) of the upper strut mount stud above the nut. Most of the front strut bars on the market did not correctly take into account that the tC has upper mounts with stiffening ridges. This does not allow the strut bar flanges to sit flush on the the strut mounts as in other cars. This is the case of my Greddy Strut bar. Greddy provided some aluminum spacers that would have not even let the nut grab a thread. My Hotchkis (TRD) fit just fine.

Note: You will need to get a set of adjustable rear camber links as anything lower than the TRD springs (100% of everyone else) goes beyond the factory camber adjustments. You can get the front adjustment bolts for about $27 although it is beneficial for that 1° negative camber that the OEM tires/wheels and the Hotchkis TVS 1 springs provide. 40K miles with even wear on my stock Craptenzas.

The rear is the one that needs the extra camber adjustment. If your coilovers have camber adjustment then there should be no need for anything else. Also, with a 1.5" drop, the OEM adjustments should work as that are the TRD drop specs. When you get your alignment, go to the dealership and have them do it to the TRD drop spring specs and you should be good. If you are road coursing, then you can use the pillow mount adjustments to dial in your trackk setup.
