wow yea that definitely doesnt seem like a coincidence...
but is that considered a manufacturer's defect? maybe it's just something that happens to the front brakes that the people who fixed your cars neglected to check. i dont know the details of your accidents, but were either of you on the brakes when the accident occured? this may have something to do with it. be extra careful driving until you get that fixed!

I don't know if it's a manufacture defect or not. That's why I have a question mark on it :P
I'll be brining both cars to Tejas to get them checked out. Yes, I had to get on the brakes to stop my car from slamming into the Van infront of me. I popped the clutch, so I was moving forward when the truck hit me. Took some of the inertia with my car. But I had to floor my brake pedal as to NOT slam into the van infront of me. As far as my wife's accident. I wasn't there. I have to assume since she was sitting at a light, and her car is automatic and she did not see the Comcast van coming at her and not stopping, that she was indeed on the brake, but not hard. I also have to assume when her car got hit, she immediately slammed her foot onto the brake (as she was pushed into an 4-way intersection). |

Wheel Bearing is the most likely culprit. Thats what the w3rd at the moment is.
The bumper-to-bumper warranty will fix my wife's. As I had my front end replaced a year ago, it might fall under that as a warranty on the repair. Or it might be out of pocket. I don't know. |

if you/ your wife were on the brake when you got hit, that would put stress on the brake, the wheel bearings, the axles, etc. mostly the braking and drivetrain components.
im gonna go with you and say the wheel bearings. once you apply the brakes and they start to grind under heave pressure, its either crappy pads, crappy rotors, the bearings, or even air in the lines. i had air in the lines on one if my cars, and they would get squishy/almost grind under heavy braking. another car i had, the bearings were bad and it did the same thing, but also shook the car because of the play. so it could be a number of things. how bad were the accidents? if they had to mess with the brakes it could be any one of those scenarios.
