Hotchkis doesn't make a rear strut bar for the tC as far as I can find on their application list.

Why do want a RSTB? What kinds of gains are you looking for?

Monster motor werks. Requires some cutting of the rear well styrofoam under deck and rear strut mounting nut barely fit. ZPI is working on a prototype one I belive.

dont get something thats not an easy install or something that requires cutting, thats just plain dumb, the car is designed and has mettel put in places for a reason, cutting anything is not good, get the greddy, it fits perfectly, here http://www.houseofscion.com/catalog/...roducts_id=177

No argument. Although I am not overly enthusiastic about the Monster Motor Works piece, I will tell you that it does not involve cutting metal of any sort. It is the rear well styrofoam under deck lid that has to be cut. A razor knife works best for that job.

Look closely and you can see the strut bar installed on my ride

To be honest, I don't think it did a darn thing. There is a heavy frame box that already connects the struts. Body deflection is occuring from the C-pillar rearwards along the rear hatch quarters. The rear strut bar did not stop those body panel areas from rippling. The alternatives on the market are good if your road racing, but not a streeter. Lower sub frame ties and cross members maybe more effective without trashing your car.

I was going to guess that that MMW bar did little or nothing. You would need a bar across the C-pillars for any noticeable improvement in chassis stiffness. As navy already pointed out the MMW bar sits across the chassis box that is already tied together though welds...not worth the money IMO.

Ya, found out too late that it was just bling, and hidden at that. But heh, it looks cool on my mod list. What real data has been gathered on torsional flexing? Companies are addressing the upper carriage, but waht about the subframe area. In most uni-bodies if you tie the sub frames together and use the correct amount of sub floor pan cross bracing you will drastically reduce body flex overall. Has anyone gone that far chasing hard data to cure overall flexing of the tC?

There are 3 ripples in the general area of my shadow. It stated on one side then a month later popped up on the other. You can't see it in the pic. I tried several times but the lighting is just not right. These started after I lowered it and started taking 40MPH turns at 90.

This was b4 I installed that useless MMW rear bar and I have the OEM sway up front and the Hotchkis rear sway set to the medium setting. I guess my car is a fluke cause no one seems to have the same issue. I wonder if I am the only one with the rear passenger floor pan plugs popping out from going to automated car washes with underbody spray jets?

Not really. I have to point it out to people. It is very subtle, but I know my car.
