Default Front and rear sways ?

Hi I'm new and I want to start moding the the suspension and I was thinking front and rear sways? Is this a good first mod? I seem to read that most have a rear sway and not a front why is that? I also wanna add front rear strut braces.

    thanks for the info

The TC already comes with a pretty beefy front swaybar. Also I hear it's a real pain to install the fronts. The rears are super easy.

I have a set of Hotchkis sways that I got a good deal on sitting in my living room now...I'll let you know in a couple of weeks when I can get aroud to installing them. At 24mm for the front and 27mm for the rear, Hotchkis is the stiffest that I know of. If you're looking for a noticeable difference for an everyday drive, the TRD rear sway (22mm) is fine. I've heard nothing but good about the TRD sway (increases stiffness from 40%-64% over stock). I must say, I'm not looking forward to dropping the engine cradle to get the front sway in...

McGeorge has the TRD sway for $119.00.

I would only do the rear bar. Not only is the front a royal PITA, but it won't really help the handling of the tC. The FSB that comes stock is beefy enough and, when paired with the stock RSB induces understeer (push). If you make the RSB bigger you can create more of a neutral handling car and if you go to the full stiff setting on the RSB you can get a bit of oversteer (loose). Neutral is the best condition for a FWD car to be in.

I just installed the RSB that i got from hotchkis... wow big inprovement!!! I was eager and put it on the stiffest setting and went for a test drive. I must say there is a big difference. I went really hard into somre turns that before i never would have taken at that speed. It handled them great. I will be installin the FSB really soon I'll keep you up to date.
