    Default Strut Bar Installation

    Written By: Alex8181

    Difficulty (1-5): 3
    Time Frame: 45 Minutes

This install in particular is with a DC Sports strut bar. Should be very similar with other bars.

Step 1: The first step is to remove four plastic plugs that hold the cowl covering the suspension. There are two on each side.

Step 2: Now unscrew the nuts holding the suspension with a 14mm wrench. Do not remove the third nut that is closest to the fenders (the ones that are farthest left and farthest right).

Step 3: Now lift the car so the wheels are off the ground. If you had left one of the bolts on the suspension bolts should still be peeking through the top of the suspension tower.

Step 4: Manuever the strut bar into place. Screw the nuts back on by hand to hold the strut bar in place.

Step 5: Drop the car to the ground and tighten all the bolts. Torque to 38 ft. lbs. Re-install the plastic plugs for the cowl and you're done.
