    Default Custom chips

I have a 2007 s/c tc and I need to find some companies that make custom chips. I want to get one with a base map and then take my car to a shop in NC or SC and get it custom tuned, because toyotas standard s/c map sucks and I'm dying to squeeze some more ponies out before I go to a t/c setup.

As said prior, custom chips = waste of money and do little if anything w/ the VVT-i. Go turbo.

i plan to but i want a temporary solution until i have $5000 to drop on the pTuning turbo setup or Dezod turbo or to properly build a custom turbo setup with a GT35R and external recirculated wastegate with a catted downpipe.
i also am going to add a 55mm pulley and custom charged intake tubing and cold intake tubing with a good tial bypass valve or recirculated bypass valve since the stock bypass valve and ECU map give me MAJOR flutter at idle and moderate accelleration.

Your better off leaving your setup the way it is now until you save up for a turbo. With a turbo you can opt to buy an e-manage system.

Problem with the 2AZ-FE ECM is that it wants to be the head honcho. WOT is about the most that can be altered. It relearns after the piggyback tuning and overrides some of that tuning.
