DRAG Racing in need for speed most wanted:How will I do that?

Drag racing in need for speed has been the most difficult kind of racing for me.I can't get it!The tutorial in NFS Most Wanted doesn't really explain how exactly should I use the controls.My uncle says the transmission in DRAG Racing is manual and it's all about timing and shifting gears.Can you please tell me the things I have to do to win this?I mean can you please give me clear and easy to follow instructions.You're response to this question will highly be appreciated.

If you have any prior experience to playing NFS Underground 1&2, its works the same way. Some pointers I can offer you are:

* Try to keep your REV's not too high or too low.
* Watch the top of the screen, shift gears when the icon turns green= perfect shift.
* To change lanes use either the Left/Right Arrow Keys, or the JoyStick
* Always look ahead to compensate lane changes to avoid hitting on coming traffic.
* Use the NOS when you have a Straight A Way, longer stretch of pavement.
* Draft Behind other racers when you can to keep pace, and then pull out around them to pass and go for the win.
* Its going to take lots of practice, but once you figure it out, its a ton of fun.
