I just bought a new black sand pearl tC and i want to throw some black eighteens on it... does anyone have any pictures of theirs. I am deciding between the busier looking ones and the simple five spoke. I can look all i want online but i really want to know what they actually look like on a car. There are three I am lookin at...

if you are feeling crazy you can look at them. they might be my first choice. search for hot-lap... just like that on that site. I just really want to know what any of those look like on a car. thanks guys!!

Out of your selection, I think these would look the best and be easier to maintain (clean). If you look under my Member's Ride section, you will see black rims on Indigo Ink which might give you an idea of black 5-spoke. http://www.club-tc.com/forums/member...ect-tc-13.html

yeah that link still doesnt work. i dont know what the deal is. I do like the five spokes... but i really think that a few more would be a little further along the lines of what i am looking for. I am really leaning toward the hot-laps.... mainly because i like the red pinstripe around the perimeter and i would go as far as to say that would make for a nice caliper painting session if you know what i am sayin. I would really like to tune my car up somewhere along the lines of this...

-Lowering Kit. 1 inch to an inch and a half (reccommendations are welcome)
-Cold Air Intake (Injen or AEM?)
-New exhaust (megan drift catback maybe?)
-New Rims and tires

Bear in mind I really do not have much money (college student at A&M). I do have a job but some goes to rent and most of what I am looking to put on will come out of my pocket of course. So I am just getting in to the tuning process and i was wondering where would be a good place to start?

Im having trouble uploading pics.. but i had 18" icw taipei wheels on my first black sand pearl tc.. and if you plan on cleaning ever 5mins.. i would advise to stay away from the black.. it shows every spec of dust!

That and haze scratches. Black is why you need a California Brush.
