    Default Tire wear

A while ago I hit a pretty deep pot hole and bent my front right rim and had to buy another rim. Now the tire that is there is wearing a lot of the tread on the outside, what could be causing this? Allignment?

If your experiencing abnormal tire wear, I would have your alignment checked. Since you hit a deep pot hole and bent the rim, the force of the blow may thrown your alignment out. I would also have the tie rods, and caster/camber checked as well. In most cases when the tire is wearing/cupping either on the inner or outter half, its due to an improper alignment. If the tire is wearing in the center, that would be from over inflation. Under inflation can also cause a tire to wear improperly, those signs would be on either inner/outer edges.
