Exclamation 18" Tires Tearing up my Inner fender well...

Hey everyone, I have 18" Nitto ZR NT555's on my '06 tC and everytime I get the car about 100 MPH it tears both inner fender well completely off my car. This is starting to get really expensive being that Toyota/Scion charges over $100 per insert.

Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?

Having the correct wheel/tire size and wheel offset is where I would start. I am currently running a 225/40/18 Hankook K106 (Z) Rated Tires w/ a 18x7.5 Wheel 5x100 bolt pattern and never had any issue w/ the inner fenders rubbing. I have a feeling your tires are the issue, or your inner fenders aren't intact/tightly secured.

Well super glue ain't gonna work on this one. Are you rubbing at all at any other speeds? Does it come off at 100MPH on a smooth or bumpy surface? It is possible that air pressure is building up in the front lower portion of the wheel well mud guard. Did you change the front bumper cover with an aftermarket pieces or have any aerodynamic add-ons to the front?

How many times has this happened. Did you ever take the front bumper cover off? Maybe it was not re-installed correctly. The 2 lower engine bay mud guard panels are installed or not?
