Local gas prices

I'm not boosted or anything, is it really worth paying the extra money for gas to have boost? It costs me about to fill from empty, give or take a few, right now we're at .55 for 87 in RI

I cant seem to find 91 anywhere around me. its pissing me off. The only station that had it (sunoco) was torn down and made into a shell! DAMN!

shell v-power!!! 93 octane, its the only thing i put in my car. if i absolutly have to settle for somthing else ill go to chevron.

yeah it is. And the top primium is running high $4.70 rnage. Not sure. I couldnt get my camera out in time when I saw it yesterday.

And since there are only two companies on Island, this is what everyone pays. I see alot of people post up local gas prices and its always BP. In the states they are always expensive. here on Island, everyone pays the crazy price.

Military does get a discount tho, but still over $4.04 a gallon!!!

My gas mileage is the same with SC. I am around 26 ish to the gallon. i need to update my spreadsheet to get the exact mileage for the 24,000 miles i have recorded of fillups.

How do you get the same mileage with the s/c?
I get around 21. Well I do kinda beat mine....

Its pretty easy. I dont drive my car hard on the streets. If you dont go into boost your gas mileage wont change. You must drive your car insane to be getting around 21. Taking off from stop signs and lights and accelerating hard will kill your mileage.
I drive my car jsut normal, and almost always see around 26-27. And thats city driving, we dont have any highways here. Highway in the states, I was getting 28-29.

Damn. I dont beat my car that much, but i do have headers, that might make a difference? maybe? but im ok with the 21 because i have fun in my car.

The HEADER shouldnt make any noticable difference. but the difference between 21mpg and 26-27 is pretty big so you HAVING fun is making a world of difference. You might not think you are beating on it alot, but that number is very low (21MPG).

wen i boost then chill off and on it lasts about a week
