Dang! You have done some work. Looking nice. What other mods you looking at doing? You should do something about your valve cover though; chrome, powder coat, or even just paint to smooth out the look under the hood. Welcome to da Club and congrats on the new Ride.

By the looks of his pictures, those would be visor tV screens 10'' or 12'' wide screen. If I may ask, what company makes those?

A few weeks ago a buddy and I installed these:

I get bored w/ listening to the same music, so now I burn my own music videos to DVD's. Plus the videos make great entertainment while I'm at car shows, or I can throw in a movie and help pass the time away. 9 out 10 times, it draws people in to look at your ride, plus the younger kids love it too. If I really wanted to I could drive around town and watch the local news for example.

Cool. And those underglows are sick... I want those but thats the last thing I would get on my car... Wait is there a seperate button to turn those on and off? Or are those connected with your light switch?

I have tons and tons of neons/LED's on my tC. I like having the option of LED toggle switches:

nicee, so your car is a show car? Why do you have it as a show car? Just becuz it looks cool or what? I really have no idea about cars and this modding and stuff.

My Scion tC is a daily driver and a show car. I enjoy car shows, meeting new people, making friends and having fun. I don't so much care about racing it, I care to keep my tC in one piece, rather than trashing it and risking loosing my licence and paying ridiculous fines. I also would rather put my money into my ride, rather blowing it on drugs, alcohol or gambling, at least I'll have something to show for all my accomplishments.

Thats exactly my thought... I may race it every once in awhile but mainly I just wanna keep it as long as possible... But I'm just afraid if I focus on making it look good w/o any hp to back it up ill get alot of crap

Who cares if you get crap because you don't have all that much HP. A Scion tC isn't a Corvette Z06, but in my opinion, go with cosmetic mods as well as performance mods. I am gearing my tC for SHOW and GO, but keeping it as clean as possible, like a sleeper. Plus I am not advertising w/ a crap load of stickers on my tC saying " Race Me " !

That's exactly my idea... but if it were to be a sleeper I would have to buy expensive mods like a turbo... and that ll take me forever to save up for... And yea too many stickers is pretty lame I just want a clean good running Tc.

Forced induction is really nice as long as you can afford it. My tC is an auto, so no boosting for me. So many of my friends have blown engines from installing turbo's, I don't care to ruin my tC or keep having it in and out of the shop for repairs. I've done 120mph in my tC and that is pretty fast in my opinion, but I don't need the speeding tickets or worse killing myself of someone else because of my own stupidity.

soooo.... I dont think I can be a sleeper unless I got turbo because then I wouldn't break 120... But if you tune your turbo and know how to use it will it still blow your engine?

As long as the turbo kit you buy is quality and not from Ebay, you'll be fine. I would also recommend having everything professionally tuned as well. Over boosting or loosing oil to the turbo to keep it cool will result in a failure.

Your first mod can be anything you want it to be and what your willing to spend. What is more important to you, performance or looks?
