Well i have good kdw 2 tires, trd springs, progress sway, and a ingalls rear brace.. I love how my car handles corners, but on dips and bumps, mostly highway the car feels floaty/spongy and unstable.. what can i do to stop this, i was thinking struts but heard trds are just to last longer lowered but dont help handling/stiffeneing.. annysuggestions, if i can get this dialed in and maybe the car will even corner a little better too lol thatll be sweet, But after i get this i guess ill work on breaks or start saving for a turbo next.. thanks guys

Unless your planning on hitting the track, expensive coil-overs are a use of money that could be well spent towards your turbo. The TRD springs offer little in lowering and increased spring rate for twisty-holics. They are made to be just a step above the factory ride. The OEM struts actually handle well but for increase handling control you should invest in performance struts that offer adjustable rebound and dampening control. The TRD struts are rebadged Bilsteins.

For ultimate handling for the street, you should invest in the Energy Performance's master kit for the tC to replace all of your suspension bushings. Dezod also makes adjustable endlinks for the swaybars. Can I assume that you already have a front strut bar?

no i dont have the front strut bar yet thats next with either struts or whatever i need to stop this bouncy squishyness on bumps and dips.. Like it just makes the car unstable and is the only thing holding me bak from perfect to none handling.. Like i said it takes curves like a champ, but when it comes to flying down a back road and hitting a dip the car slams down and bounces back up too much which makes it unstable, so what to do?? im still kinda confused on what to do, the strut bar wont help this.. thanks

You can start by replacing the OEM struts. They begin to get mushy after about 40K miles. A stiffer rebound will help curb that drop after a bump. Tighter dampening will clean up the dips. This will only go so far. If the problem persists then a stiffer spring rate is required. Stiffer springs will require higher dampening rates to prevent you from bouncing down the road like a '73 Cadillac. True, strut bars are only for handling in the corners.
