Back again ...

I'm not exactly a new member. I believe I posted once, years ago, not long before my 2005 TC got wrecked by a semi truck on a freeway, and I just never came back ... until now.

I test drove a new TC at the time, but it was just too soon after the accident, so I ended driving an XB for a while. This summer, I finally started feeling like I was ready to trade it in for a TC again. We had toyed with waiting for the 2011 model, but decided to go with the 2010 release series edition.

I've put about 1000 miles on it; already up to 34-35 mpg like the old one was doing. It's like a favorite pair of jeans, like I've been driving it forever even though I haven't driven a 5-speed in almost two years.
