    Hi all,

I stumbled across this forum while doing some research on some repairs the dealership said I needed last night. Luckily, I paid it off in September, so I can afford some of these repairs without feeling too much pain!

I got my 06 tC on October 7, 2005. She has served me very well, needing nothing but maint. for 100,684 miles. Now, according to the dealership, I need a new battery, water pump, some door hinge, a power steering fluid flush and my front brakes are at 15%. C'est la vie.

Wow. That is a good bit of mileage on your tC. Don't forget that it is time to check those plugs and possibly replace those Iridium tips. The tC has a phenomenal time frame between maintenance intervals. Not bad for a $17K car. The power steering fluid is the only crux to the maintenance cycle holy grail. There is no cooler and the high pressure of the system (around 1200 PSI) causes the fluid to burn and sludge a bit. Would recommend flushing once every two years at a minimum. Once a year might be better if you drive your tC alot and in hot weather climate.
