Ok...I own a 2007 Scion Tc...My problem is that when I come to a complete stop and then step on the gas paddle to go, the brake light warning shows up for 15-20 seconds or when the RPM reach 34-40 MPH. I understand that there's someting wrong with my brakes and I would want to know what parts do I need to get to fix the brake problem and does anybody know a good website where I could buy the parts? Reason being is that car dealers tend to charge a bit more to get the parts as well as the labor fee. Thank you.

Ceramic pads, OEM Rotors or Cross-Drilled/Slotted Rotors, Stainless Steel Brake Lines, DOT3+ Brake Fluid. You may be getting that light cuz your pads are worn down too far, so the car is telling you to do scheduled maintenance. I would also have the ABS system checked, if under warranty, have the dealer fix it. If not under warranty, avoid the dealership aka stealership.

If you need brake pads, I'd go w/ Hawk, EBC, TRD or Wagner Thermo-Quiet.
Brake Rotors I'd suggest, EBC, PowerSlot, Stop Tech, Brembo, or OEM Blanks.

TRDSparks.com sells OEM and some after market stuff for the tC's.

Check that you have the proper brake fluid level. This has been the main issue. If it is the ABS warning light, you will need to go to a mechanic that has an ABS scan tool. The parking brake handle could be not completely disengaged (down) or it's cable is adjusted too tight. Taking off can cause the handle's pawl mechanism to slightly rotate enough to activate the brake light switch. Either ensure that brake handle is lowered fully or adjust the 10mm nut under the center trim behind the handle. Adjust the nut counter-clockwise about a 1/4-1/2" nut.

Warning- Do not adjust the nut more that that amount. If problem does not change, then immediately return the nut back clockwise to it's original position (the amount you moved it).

    SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
    1. SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
    HINT:
The skid control ECU is a single unit with brake actuator.
    (a) ABS
    (Anti-lock Brake System)
The ABS helps prevent the wheels from locking
when the brakes are applied firmly or when braking
    on a slippery surface.
    (b) EBD
    (Electronic Brake Force Distribution)
The EBD control utilizes ABS, realizing proper
brake force distribution between front and rear
wheels in accordance with driving conditions.
In addition, when braking while cornering, it also
controls the brake forces of right and left wheels,
    helping to maintain vehicle behavior.
    2. ABS WITH EBD OPERATION
    (a) Based on the signals received from the 4 wheel
speed sensors, the skid control ECU calculates
each wheel speed and deceleration, and checks
wheel slipping condition. And according to the
slipping condition, the ECU controls the pressure
holding valve and pressure reduction valve in order
to adjust the fluid pressure of each wheel cylinder.
    3. FAIL SAFE FUNCTION
    (a) When a failure occurs in the ABS system, the ABS
warning light comes on and operation is prohibited.
In addition to this, when a failure which disables the
EBD operation occurs, the BRAKE warning light
comes on as well and operation is prohibited.

brake light is coming on cause brake fluid is low due to worn out pads. change out the brake pads and also check the brake fluid level AFTER installing the new pads since the brake fluid level will raise with new pads installed. if fluid level is still low after instal, then fill it up to the max line.

Good point about the brake pads. These pads last so long I forget about them.

That happened on my 07 also. It turned out to be that the brake fluid was low, like navylife said.
