camber and spring help

my wife bought a tc and is looking to lower it. I am trying to find out if the car is lowered around 2" will an alignment get the camber straight or will you max the adjustment out and have to get a camber kit? I have also been reading about some noise after lowering and if so, is there is a solution? I need info ASAP because i may get her springs for christmas. Thanks

Hey, Look at the Tein H.Techs. They only lower the car about an inch which is perfect for the tC (in my opinion) and you do not need to worry about being out of camber spec. More importantly you don't need to get beefier dampers (shocks) to work correctly with the stiffness most other springs have. H.Techs are about as stiff as stock dampers will work with. If you get too stiff of a spring your wife will hate you because the ride will be harsh, bouncy and all around unpleasant.

I did my springs too. I got the eibach sportline kit it lowers it 2" all around. I love the ways it looks and handles. I work at auto shop so I did the springs and my alignment myself to tell you the truth it did not throw it off that much. the front needs a little toe but not much camber. But the back camber was out alot. But you will still have more room for ajustment so you will not need a camber kit. hope it helps.

ummm, okay guys, i have shocks and srping, and yes after a while u will need to get a camber kit, pref. the hotchkis, i took my car for its alignment, and they said i needed to get a kit, right now im driving aroudn at a -1.5 on each side, kinds helps stearing though

front ones are fixable w/o front camber bolts, i have a lifetime alignment and mine is straight on the front tires, and my car has dropped significatley after my TRD shocks and TRD Springs have settled in
