Made in China. Universal setup. Big center cap that will look ugly and be a pain to replace if lost/damaged. Does not state materials so probably just inexpensive cast. Must have correct hub centric rings for proper fitment. These should come with it at no cost.

:iagree:. I know alot of people like to be original, but sometimes it is better to go with a product that alot of people have to ensure proper fitment and satisfaction.

Chances are that you will find 3 other wheels out there that look very similar to that wheel design. Chroming your OEM wheels would be cool, but the EPA has shut down most chrome shops. Finding one in your area that will take on the work might be a pain.

Well, there is another option. I have seen at least one store on eBay that will sell you OEM chromed tC wheels. They send the wheels to you, you send your stockers back to them.

i have actually been looking at those and i am considering it as a viable option but i think wheels are going to be one of the last things i do to this car now i am trying to figure out if i do a brake upgrade if that Electronic Braking thing that is on my 09 scion is going to screw with them. It just seems like the breaks in my car are seriously under powered all the time i hit the brakes and it just doesnt slow down the way every other car i used to have does so i think that is my current primary thing.

And to drop those stopping distances just upgrade to a quality cross-drilled/slotted rotors. Even with the stock pads you can jamb up the brakes and stop uber quick even from over 100MPH. Get more aggressive pads and the stoppage comes quick. EBFD and Anti-lock functions will not be affected.

My rotors I bought from RotorPros. What ever brand that you get, just make sure they are plated for corrosion and the holes are chamfered. The OEM pads bite hard on these rotors. EBC and Hawk make good pads and have a vareity of types for the tC. You will need to decide what you want in features ie less dust or more bite. Be careful not to run full-on race pads as they have to be heated up to perform (glassy brakes on the highway) and will put more wear on the rotors.

You can see an installation of these on a late model Mustang. It is very similar procedures as with the tC.

Be aware that rotorpros.com is a domain squatter site and not the actual Rotor Pros company. You can hit them up at http://stores.ebay.com/ROTORPROS. Yes it's E-Pray but I had a great experience with these guys, good price, and extremely happy with the product.
