I damaged my front suspension when i lost control around a turn and ran over a pole. The car was repaired and drives fine however there is a clunking noise when i go over bumps. THe car drives well but im unsure as to what this could be or if its dangerous to the car or just some noise im stuck with after the accident.

Is the noise from the front or the rear. If you drove over a pole you make have damaged something in the rear. Take it back to the shop that did the repair and let them know that the repair was not complete. Any sustained suspension damage can be very dangerous. Without a complete list of damaged parts replaced and plenty of pics it is near impossible for anyone on the internet to give you a timely and concise answer.
