does it beep?

    So I am getting winter tires and rims and don't want to pay for new sensors or just keep swapping them. I have a 2009 tc and wondered if anyone knew if the tire pressure warning light also beeped. I have a friend with an 2008 mazda 3 and when her warning light comes on it beeps too. I can live with the light being on all winter but not if it beeps. Does anyone know?

    in the 2.5yrs that I have owned mine the light has gone off twice and there is no beep

    There is definately no direct wiring to the Combination Meter's piezeo electric speaker. As far as I can tell, there is no logic in the ECM or TPWS module to do that. Also, there is no other audible device, save the horns, in the car.
