Does the brand of spring matter much?

    Should i be concerned with a certain brand for a lowering spring?

    i would personaly take the time a do the research about springs that would go on my car because it will make a difference in handling, ride quality and how much the car is lowered.

    I have to highly agree w/ Okie on this matter. You can buy cheap knock-off parts off of Ebay and get what you pay for, you spend the time and money and buy name brand parts and the results your looking for. If your looking to lower your ride, I would consider looking into these:

    * Progress
    * Eibach
    * Tein
    * TRD
    * Skunk 2

    ** I would refrain from buying (Megan), they have a well known reputation of producing poor quality products. You might also want to consider buying a camber kit and having a 4-wheel alignment done after your lowered.

    No because the tein springs are a "known brand" but their quality is cheap and those coils break easily.
