Eibach Springs...Pro-kit vs. Sportline

Which one would you guys reccomond ...this car is a daily driver. Im looking for an aggressive looking low scion so thats why I want the Sportline, but I also want a some what easy ride and to have no problems with the springs ?
Which one should I chose ? and if not eibach what ? ? ?

1.7 Front Drop 1.9 Rear drop I believe. With pretty solid spring rates for a spring swap as well.

I will also not have shocks for awhile .... will this be a problem ? ?

Nah, so long as your stock units will be fine until you modify into something more aggressive.

what if you were not planning to update the shocks?

Will they spring eventually ruin the shocks much faster than they would normally expire?

Yes, springs DO wear out shocks and struts faster. Think about it. With stock springs, the movement is soft and slow. With aftermarket springs, it's much faster and harder. When you hit a bump, there is less spring to help absorb it. It pretty much runs right through the shock/strut.

I get that they would wear faster. But how much faster?

that probably depends on your daily driving habits: how many bumps you go over, etc. i've heard the stock struts last 80K miles with stock springsfrom 0 miles --- 40-50K from 0 with aftermarket springs. others put springs on with 115K old struts. i dont think there is a concrete number to go on.

i have hotchkis springs but won't put them on till i get struts. i got 42K on the stock struts.

Ya'all know my opinion on the matter.

No point in killin those stock struts/shocks.

Save your nickels and dimes and get a full blown coil-over kit.

You'll thank me for it in the end.

why would you rather +$1000 coils over $150 springs and $450 struts?

if you're just using it as a daily driver, why go with something you can adjust only to never adjust it? or is my view wrong on coils?

to me, if you dont auto-x, they are gonna be the same thing since you'd have no reason to adjust them. see my idea? let me know if that's off base at all.
