I believe that Cadence has an initial mod list posted somewhere. There are also numerous stickies in the thread sections that have most of what to know in them. When you need to feed your brain more Scion goodness, there is the expansive Tech section.

I went with the Injen CAI, Megan Race Header and a MagnaFlow exhaust. I love the throaty sound and never thought a 2x. Thinking about adding the Megan S pipe to it.

I wasnt worried about power gains as much as I was sound. I didnt want a raspy "honda" sounding system.

As for suspension I have the Tein STec springs. Havent decided on what I'm doing for shocks yet.

If it was me I would try and stay away from Megan, their products aren't of the best quality. I bought an Invidia 60mm down-pipe, and it fit like glove. As far as struts go, I would get Tokico's, I have a set on my tC w/ Eibach Prokit Lowering Springs, a great combination!

A few people have said the same thing about Megan Racing products however I haven had any problems with my header since the day I installed it a tad over a yr ago.

If I may ask why do you not like Megan Racing products?

Their quality isn't the greatest, very cheaply made, NavyLife59 can concur on that as well.

Megan is great for Hondas, not so much for tCs. The headers are notorious for cracking along the mounting flange.

^ Very true! Your best bet and money for a header are: Weapon-R, DC Sport, Strup, Alphawerks, Tsudo. You need to determine which is best suited to your performance needs (4-1) or (4-2-1). After you buy the header of your choice, send it over to guys at Jet-Hot and have it jet-coated w/ heat protection. You can choose the heat protection you want as well as the coating. Their work is 100% warrantied, if for any reason your not happy or the header cracks, peels, flakes, discolors...etc, send it back to Jet-Hot.

Definitely stay away from Megan industries. Their stuff is very cheaply made and beaks easily. They're almost as bad as eBay brand. Another one to stay away from is ZPI or Zero Point Industries. They went out of business a few years ago but people still have their poorly made parts floating around (more so on Scion Life). Really, best bet, just stay away.

Have you looked into going the coilovers route? It's a bit more pricey on the wallet but overall once I got coils I couldnt go back to springs/strut setup. Plus they are adjustable so if you ever wanted to lower the car you had that option.

I actually had megan coils on my nissan s13, they werent that bad but the design was completely different that the tc coils and i heard alot of bad things about knocking on the rear setups on the tc. If you are interested in coils I can give you a quick run down on what are usually good/decent and what to stay away from and what the main difference is between them.

Eibach makes a very reasonable high quality lowering springs/Sportline kit that im currently running and i highly recommend. Ebay it. better pricing.
