Need some input. I have bought OEM fog light for my 06 Tc. But they are not the fog lights that go in the grill of the bumper, theses ones go into the opening holes that are on each side of the front bumper. usuall cover by a black cap. The fog lamps fit perfect. My problem is I need to know where I can run the wires through. It looks like crap running it throught the door. everytime i open the door i see the wires. Is there a hole in the firewall that i can run the wires through or do i need to make a hole. The wire kit that came with the fog lamps are not the same as if you bought the factory fog lamps. There is a perfect picture of the whole kit on k2motor.com.

Scion has got you covered on this one. There is actually a fog light circuit installed in all Scions and most Toyotas. The tC only needs a relay and a switch to have a functioning fog lamp circuit. Just behind the front bumper cover on the underside of the frame below the driver's side headlamp hangs a single wire connector that is covered in black tape. This is the OEM fog lamp engine bay harness. It will be +12VDC once the relay and switch are installed. Everythign that you need to know is provided here in this PDF document from our friends over at TRDSparks.com. You can check with them about the 7-pin y-harness, the relay, and the switch as separate parts so that your fogs will have the OEM activation to them.

Yep. The little factory connector can be a pain to find. I had to really get in there and search for it when installing my VRD's. It's really easy though. Basically, plug-and-play! However, if you install HID's like I did, it can be kind of rough to find a good spot to mount each ballast.

Same here. I one between the radiator and driver's headlamp in front of the radiator diffuser panel. The other is ziptied to the brake lines next to the coolant tank.

I have both of mine screwed in. I'm not exactly sure where, but I think it may be to the radiator diffuser panel. They seem to do pretty good there.
