I figured it was time to join one of the sites that talks about the car I love and this one is the best, so here I am. A little about me? I call Reno home, but work keeps me gone all the time. I own an '07 in black cherry, which I drove off the lot with 16 miles on it. It was an instant love affair! I just rolled 20k miles at the beginning of the year; it was more depressing than when I turned 30. As a home owner, with many other interests, I don't have the money to transform my baby into Superscion overnight.

What I have done so far is all under the hood. Nothing too extreme, as I want to keep it streetable. The TRD SC and LSD seemed like a good place to start. I decided to go ahead and do the clutch and flywheel while I had the tranny out for the diff, so I went with the 8 pound Fidanza and the stage one ACT.

My next project is suspension. I'm going for adjustables, next month or early June, if work lets me go home long enough to order and receive them, then install. Sway bars come next, probably at the beginning of fall. After that, my baby is going to get skinny, starting with the feet; RPF-1's are what I'm leaning toward there. Once I get her down to the weight range I want, I'll go back to the power department.

What do I bring to the site? I know the business end of a wrench. I've done all my own work (except for the SC reflash) and plan on continuing that. I've also been a mechanic (not on cars, though) for 16 years and have an excellent sense of sound mechanical practices. I also hate being wrong, so if I don't know the answer to something 100%, I keep quiet.

I look forward to networking with you all!
