I've had my 2006 tC since new and have made no mods to date...(86,000 miles)....the handling has gotten sloppy on slow bumpy roads so I'm thinking I need new front struts. But then thought about a set of TRD struts and shocks. i don't want to lower the car....is there any problem using the TRDs with the stock springs? Also thinking strut tower brace and TRD rear sway bar.....any thoughts?

Welcome to Club-tC.com! If your handling is getting poor, I would suggest getting a name brand strut (Tokico, Bilstein, KYB or TRD) as well as upgrading your coil springs. Each lowering spring will have different lowering rates, so you will need to decide on how low you want to go and considering in any body modifications you've done as well. Your best going lowering springs are: (TRD, Eibach, Progress, Tein, KSport, H&R). I would also suggest getting an engine strut bar as well as a rear sway bar, the handling will be much improved over stock. There is a rear hatch strut bar made my Ingalls that many people are using and love (Ingalls 4-Point Strut Brace). Make sure after you lower your tC you get a 4 wheel alignment and pending on how low you go, you may also need a camber kit.

Yes, welcome! Hope you find this forum helpful. Post up some picts of your ride. Stock or not, I love looking at tC's. Just think of it as your blank canvas to make into what ever you desire it to be.
