A bit of info. If you are talking about performance pads, you will find that the ABS/EBFD does not work as effectively as before. ABS requires a well balanced braking system. This system is tuned to the fricton coefficient of the pads and rotors. The higher coefficient goes beyond this balance which could cause the ABS/EBFD not to operate at top efficiency. Don't worry though, it is slight and only under very hard breaking that you can tell.

For example, I have OEM pads w/ 46K miles with slight wear. My rotors are cross-drilled, slotted, and chamfered. Hitting my brakes hard at 90-100MPH caused the brakes locked up w/o the normal pulsating pedal from the ABS at all. Granted, the tires don't grab that great (Original Potenzas), but my car still stopped in an relatively short distance with no controlability concerns or braking anomlies. At slower street speeds, the ABS appears to be working normally.
