    I bought my Tc a few years back and everything was stock and basic. it's a 2005 tC and it's my new pride and joy. I had an 89 MR2 that i had to finally let go after getting too many tickets and (at the time) my mom whose opinion mattered to me about my car said it was time to let it go. I in no means don't know anything about cars i just drive them and race well use to. Midnight mayhem in Vegas was always fun. Anyway it wasn't until I met up with a few friends who work on cars and so on and so forth now I'm all about fixing my car up myself with some help instead of just being the guy that pays someone to do it.

    So like i said I bought my car stock.

    This is what Iv'e done so far:

    - I first bought my rims Tenzo type R 17" (in July 06)
    - Next a carbon fiber wing (July 06)
    - Time gap because i didn't know what else i should do with my car lol
    - Tenzo type R cold air intake and fan (full system) (April 09)
    - JDM exhaust 1.4 in 2.5 out, downpipe 2.5 in 2.5 out, and header 2.5 in and 4.5 out (Oct 09)
    - JDM voltage stabilizer (Nov 09)
    - Black vent grills (Nov 09) - *Have not installed yet
    - Blue interior (floor, dash and air) lights (Dec 09) *dash and air not installed yet. it costs $200 to sauder (don't know if i spelled that right?)
    - White on white fog, dome, and plate lights (Dec 09)
    - Slotted and drilled rotors with ceramic pads (Dec 09)
    - 20 mm wheel spacers (with my new rotors in, my rims were sitting in the the calipers so i had to buy these) (Dec 09)

    There's so much more i want to get and do. I'm not trying to make my car into a racer buy any means I have an automatic. My original plan is to just save on gas. It takes me an hour back and forth from work and i drive from city to city 6 days a week. So far with everything I have it has done wonders because now I'm only filling up once a week and $25 every Wednesday.

    Now I've added a goal for looks. The interior will be obviously be blue and white and under the hood and the exterior will be red. My tC right now is black all around and I'm thinking of going red for the lower half and keeping the top black if that makes any sense?

    What's next:
    - Red lowering springs 1.5 max
    - Red hoses
    - Red damper
    - Red fuel regulator
    - Mishimoto (did i spell that right?) radiator and fans
    - Red fuel filter
    - Different wing / spoiler either 52" or 57" I don't want a wing that everyone has i want something different and i don't want it to extend past the car
    - Lambo door kit (I hate that the doors swing out too wide)
    - Aero or Raven Body kit (probably the last thing i buy cause it's way too much money)

    and probably more to come thing is i don't know much about cars i only know what people tell me so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know what i can do for better performance in the long run as in parts, oil, gas, etc. I'd appreciate it very much.

    More to come thanks :D

    I really love the mods you've done on your tC bro. I have a few suggestions for you:

    * Mobil 1 5w 20/5w 30 full synthetic/Royal Purple, Ams Oil, Castrol Syntec
    * 89 octane fuel
    * Fuel injection cleaner every 2000-4000 miles (Lucas, STP, Chevron w/ Techron)
    * Redline Water Wetter (Radiator)
    * Lightweight Crank, Water Pump and Alternator Pulley (NST, Agency) *No under driver or over driven
    * Polyurethane engine, tranny bushing/mounts
    * Rear Sway Bar (Hotchkis, TRD, Progress, Suspension Techinques, Eibach)
    * Front Strut Bar (Greddy, TRD, DC Sport, Cusco)
    * Rear Strut Bar (Ingalls)
    * Shorty Antenna (Perrin, S2000)

    You don't need an upgraded radiator, unless your racing/tracking the car. The OEM one is more than plenty for a DD, ask Navy.

    If you looking for a unique and cool spoiler/wing, checkout Extreme Dimensions.com. I bought one from them and I love the one I have, its called the " Sniper ". I know Kaminari makes a cool one, but its kinda big for my taste and some cause drag. I have seen some people on other sites using a G35 spoiler, that's pretty sick. You can also go w/ a Celica GTS or Type-R spoiler as well. There is also a lip spoiler that looks very clean as well.

    After looking over those links, my vote is on the Wide Body Kit. As far as the wing goes, I don't care for aluminum wings, too ricey IMO. I would go with a nice fiberglass/polyurethane wing/spoiler. I can see that wing on a drift car or a race car, but not for a DD. Its your car, you can mod it the way you want it, but if it was me, I wouldn't buy it.

    I do believe you'll need a new belt w/ all the upgraded pullies. I have had great success w/ Goodyear Gator Back Belts, very strong and last a long time. I also have one on my 1995 Chevy S-10 Lowrider.

    actually yea i went to the nst website and the pulleys they had were either underdriven or what they call a lite im assuming light pulley are those the ones i want to get? problem is though on nst the crank and i think water pump pulley are lite but the alternator is either overdrive or underdrive where can i get all 3 at just lightweight and not under or over?

    The alternator is over driven, which is fine, but its more those that have sound systems. I have the Agency lite pulley, still need the water pump and alt one from NST. You want lite weight. Call NST or email them, they will better explain it to you, but trust me you'll be fine.

    Yes that correct, the crank pulley alone won't hurt anything. There are people on ClubSciontC/Scikotics/ScionLife and other sites doing that. I on the other hand are waiting till I get the other two and install them all at the same time.

    I don't know all that much about upgrading the Camshafts on the tC. The only thing I do know is that on a N/A tC it isn't needed. I do believe that Navy said those Cams would benefit a S/C or Turboed application. I would email him just to confirm, plus I am sure he'll know more about than me.I say this cuz I can't see you buying something that you don't need and wasting money.
