This has me a bit confused.

    For example is listed as
Eibach Pro Kit: Lowers Vehicle 1.0" - 1.5"

However i find the same kit Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs - tC - Jotech Motorsports Online Store
    drops 1.2 front and rear.

I want to drop my car max 1.5 inches front and rear and i want an even drop front and back 1.5. Should i go with a 1.2 drop springs, so when the car settles its more of a 1.5 drop?

Which one would you suggest to get the max drop of 1.5 drop? How long does a car take to settle in with the new lowered springs?
thanks in advance for your help.

It will take on average of 2-3 weeks for a vehicle to settle. If your looking for an even drop, I would go w/ Eibach. When I read Eibach's online site they said the approximate drop was 1.2-1.5 inches. If you want to go lower than 1.5, look into Tein or Progress. I personally like and prefer an even drop.

I do not want to go lower then 1.5 drop and i prefer an even drop. That's just my choice. Some get more confusing as they will list a drop however the ride height will be listed at something else.

I think i may go with the 1.2 drop Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs - tC - Jotech Motorsports Online Store

Although i prefer 1.2-1.5 I dont think i will scrape the bottom with that drop, and it might be a nicer look. Just got my NIA eyelids in.

Another thing...Why are sway bars so expensive? I don't get it.

More than likely due to the material they are made of and the time involved to make them.

***Guys*** I am moving this conversation into the proper thread topic. The Tech Article Section is for reference only. Please feel free to link to these articles in your threads. If you have an idea, data, or corrected/update information, please post in the Member Support section.

Here is what you car will look like when you drop it on a set of Hotchkis springs. Mind you, that you have to account for any added weight beyond the empty curb weight of the car. I have about 50-60lbs of stereo gear in the back (2 amps, 10" ported sub, wiring). Spring manufacturers design and test with empty vehicles. Not sure how far they go with that testing, ie. full-tank of gas, 2 adults in back, cargo in the hatch area, etc.
