Mekkakat's Silly 09' BSP tC

    Just some light mods done. My wheels and lowering springs I've decided to hold off on putting on seeing as it'll be winter here soon (we already had snow!) Currently working on some other little interior things as well :)

    I'm currently trying to get a spare hood from a nearby junker that I could paint up myself and make something fun looking for the summer. Maybe something like this:

    Edit: FUTURE PARTS LIST! (gotta wait till spring though :( boo)

    Lowering Springs
    Wheels - decent offset
    rear sway bar
    LEDs changed to purple & UV
    HVAC changed to white
    short shifter
    Fog Lights (?)
    HIDs (?)

    Also, does anyone know if the RS1 lip kits look ok on BSP unpainted? If they'd look stupid, I'll just pass entirely, but I was just curious.

    Just an idea though. We'll see.

    Welcome. Nothing silly about your tC or your ideas. I think that is an awesome and very creative way to express yourself with your tC. After all, is not that one of the Prime Tenets of Scion Ownership. That has seem to have been lost in translation to the masses. One thing that I did find silly was your username. At first glance, I thought it said, "Meerkat". :)

    I like the top right pict. Not sure how it would really flow in person with the gold wheels. My suggestion would be to drop the "parts list" on the side of the car idea. Cool on a race car but not a street car. You could look at getting vinyl decals to match the hood's graphics to carry the theme elsewhere like the side and rear. Dare I suggest that it could even be applied to the silver wheels? Great photoshop work BTW.

    Yeah, upon looking at it again, I really don't like the side decals. It was more filler for just some random decals I was looking at online. All of the decals on the windshield (in real life) are actually video game decals because I'm basically a big kid haha.

    This spring, I'm going to try and get my parts on - springs, wheels, rear sway, all of my LEDs, and my spare hood... we'll see how that works out.

    That's fine cause I am 43 and just the same. Most days I am just a childish 41. :) I have plans on XBOX360 (original white) theme on my RS3.0 tC. Post some picts when you get it done.

    That is what I have planned for my OEM hood for my '05. I wanted to have a mural airbrushed on it then hang it on the wall in my shop. Well, that is if I ever get a shop.
