I met Crossfade over in The Sand Box. Actually, we transported them to different Theaters (operational areas) for their USO tour. Cool guys, but I would not call them a Metal band.

I wouldn't call Disturbed "Metal" but its on the list :p

I could be wrong but I believe Navy works with the big birds, not the choppers =)

Yeppers. I fly in the Mighty Herc. The garbage hauler of the Navy. You know, "You make the call. We haul". I could walk right into a DHL or Fed-Ex job easy. Sometimes we get cool missions to haul bands and other groups around. I, myself, had the glory of hauling the Navy Base in Sicily's womens volleyball team around. :drool5:

Nice....Im situated between two AF bases and NAS Pensacola so I see more than enough fighter planes, but not alot of cargo craft. I got the honor of riding in one as a Kid on a trip home from Roosevelt Roads Navy Base, cargo bay was empty and the Crew Chief tossed a football around with me and my brother. It was cool playing football above the clouds.

    PS
About the FEDEX Job. I worked at FEDEX and stick with the Navy retirement package.

Good Old Roosie Roads. I hear that the PRANG is going to open her back up for their use.

I think I might have you beat with cargo plane antics. This is now common place but I was one of the innovators in my command.

Or how about one of our Flight Engineers riding his bike across the Pacific on a Det Transit?
