Yeah we haven't heard from you in awhile, so what's new in your world? I need some warmer weather to get here so I can use some RTV Silicone and install my CF Gauge Cluster. I should be sending my new headlights that I told you about out very soon, just waiting on one more w2, then for the money to hit my saving account.

I'm doing alright for the most part. Its been warm and cold here too and I can't do all that much w/ mods. I was going to install the CF gauge cluster but I tried using some double-sided tape and it wouldn't hold, even used a blow dryer. The headlights were going to get send out when I got them, but I realized I didn't have enough cash to foot the purchase. Once income taxes come back I will have the cash to get them as well as other mods, hopefully get my tC finished and then work on getting my S-10 done. I'm still working for Miller Honda/Hyundai, learning more and more each day and bettering my knowledge.

Yes I did notice you weren't on CStC anymore. You told me you were leaving there anyhow due to certain reasons. I will be sure to let you know when I get the headlights and CF gauge cluster in. I love the RS1 Lip, mine was purchased from Racing Solutions. I feel your pain about getting stuck, I got stuck last year in my driveway twice, have yet to get stuck this year, but the most snow we've had is less than 6''.

yea lucky for us snow isnt too bad here this winter, but when its bad its bad...........so im indecisive about dropping...if i do finally decide to drop then thats when i'll have to invest in a winter beater..haha.....but yea it is what it is....i've looked at other lip kits but the RS1 just sticks out for me, i'm thinking about getting it from racing solutions as well........did you get the cf one?

My tC is lowered on Eibach Prokit Lowering Springs w/ Tokico HP Series Struts and I haven't had any issues so far this year in the snow, but it really hasn't been bad either. My Lip Kit is Polyurethane and painted to match, so is my side skirts and rear lip. If you do lower it, get some good snow tires, or get a winter beater, not worth making the tC a snow plow. I want to buy another vehicle after my tC is paid off, but I think I will get a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 instead of another tuner.

ohhh thats right! your lip is color matched...i remember now....when i do get the RS1 it'll be the polyurethane one as well...not so much into the CF look.....speaking of tires im taking the car in for an alignment and new tires tomorrow...ughh...im still undecided wether i wanna do springs or coils....im thinking if anything im going to go with coils...

I would only do coils if your going to be racing/tracking/auto-crossing. For a DD springs are plenty, plus coils I have heard can ride very poorly and bouncy. If you do go with a coil over, you need a fully adjustable. Every time you adjust the ride height, it will affect change the tires contact to the road and you'll need to have alignments done more often. I already asked my buddy about this, he said for the street go w/ springs, for racing purposes, go with coil's.

True I've heard that its much more bumpier and stiff to ride on ..........as far as springs i really like the way the stech's drop looks but afraid it may be a bit too low......if i do decide to go forth with dropping it'll be with either TRDs or htechs....

I would look into Eibach's like I have, they aren't too low but will fill in the wheel well gap very nicely. The ones I have will drop you between 1.2'' - 1.5''. Another option is TRD's or Progress. Did you still want me to build your dead pedal w/ the acrylic and the LED's?

Just don't go too low that your unhappy. My 2 cents is Eibach, TRD, Tein or Progress. You'll need to factor in the drop w/ the front lip as well. I had my front lip on before I dropped, so the decision making on what springs I wanted and the desired drop was much easier.

thanks scott, i'll have to keep that in mind with both the springs and lip as a whole..ughh decisions...I need to start investing on the car again....sadly I spent 800 bucks on tires and alignment today but it was much needed...only to hear that my front axle is torn...so im gona have to get on that as well :(

Why is your front axle bad? $800 on tires and an alignment, WOW! What tires did you buy?
