As some of you may know, I have been looking at different wheels for a while. If you have read my other post where I posted pics of 19" AutoArt wheels, you will now understand that I think BSP would look great with gold wheels. Well, while searching on another forum, I found something that has changed my mind about aftermarket wheels. I don't know when I will be getting this done, but I will be doing it.

I don't know. The guy didn't post any info on the other forum. I don't think it's much. It's alot cheaper than going with aftermarket, I can assure you that. I would think just some painter's tape, VERY fine sand paper, gold paint, black pain, and a few cans of clear coat. I will be looking into this sometime in the summer.

This guy really likes the look of his wheels... and I do too. Very good work. Looks like he used paint. Like I said before, the stock wheels are top-notch. Project tC would still be wearing those shoes if they were just an inch wider.

I wouldn't want to go much wider. We see a fair amount of snow in the winter time and wider footprints equal bad things happening.

What, no Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies down the local Interstate? Are you a little skiddish? :D

Hmm...I guess you didn't hear it ring. Oh well, it's too late now. If you're not busy tomorrow, I'll give you a call. That way we can discuss a couple of things.

Down in south Texas where I live, we only have to deal with snow once or twice a decade.

I think those rims are clean. Not something I'd sport on my tC. Honestly, I don't like the look of the stock rims either.

    But wider is -always- better.

I agree that wider is better, but anyone that has ever seen snow will tell you that the wider a tire, the worse it does in the snow. I'll keep my stockers and go with a 225/45/17.

Were abouts in South Texas? I grew up in G-town near the Big D. Currently, I am looking at the area around Elkhart and Palestine to buy land.
