    Hi all,
I used to have a 2008 tC, but it got totalled after about a year (yay guy in a mustang with your son texting on your phone and rear-ending me at 40 miles an hour while i'm at a dead-stop waiting on a light) but now i'm back with a cement 2011...loving this six speed and already looking to make it mine probably starting with stereo, so any places i need to look point me and i'd appreciate it.

:welcome: to Club-tC sorry to hear about your 2008 tC being totalled. How are you liking the 2011 tC? I hear your looking to start w/ audio mods, are you looking to upgrade the headunit and speakers? I have a 2006 Scion tC (Azure Pearl) w/ about $10,000 in mods as well as a sound system that puts out a lot of bass. I have very good knowledge w/ audio/video, write back and let me know what you are looking to do. Merry Christmas! :)

thanks right now i've got an old double din eclipse, thinking the unit looks din & 1/2? dunno, but most importantly i'm about to drive up to colorado and i hate itunes, so is there a way, do you think, to use one of my external drives as a media player? Or, rather, would the head unit be able to recognize it (Western Digital Passport 300gig) if i format it and load just my audio files, and if so what would i have to either load on it or would work just like that? (sorry, i don't think in a very linear fashion) much appreciate tho and thanks for the condolences

I would need to see a pic of the headunit, but the best thing I can tell you is to try the unit and see if it does what you want it to. Or you could buy a headunit that supports an Ipod.

eh, unit has built in support for mp3, wma, aac, ipod, but i don't like apple stuff...(read anything i have to go through itunes with..) but yeah i'm trying this drive we'll see...(wish there was some 3rd party that supported 80-120 gig)

Thank you for the comments, I am going to do my gauge cluster and HVAC swap blue/white. When its going to happen I am not sure, I have a ton more mods to get as well.
