Plug and Play Chip mod?

    Is there any risk in buying a chip that claims +50 horse power? Is this claim full of it? Is there a chip out there that works? Do any of you have the chip in your ride? Is it worth it?

    All the "chip" will do is alter the IAT voltage. It is nothing but a resistor. It lies to the ECM that the air is colder to inject more fuel and add timing. This is inaccurate and could cause issue in hot climates or bad gasoline. Highly suggest that you put that money towards a quality CAI or LW crank pulley.
