has anyone purchased or knows someone who has purchased the kaminari aero race body kit? wondering if it came in good condition and if it fit good and didnt need work done to it too much? any replies back would be great.

There is a guy on here that has the full kit. I'll see if I can't find him.

there are plenty of replica/knockoffs out there... so just be careful.
(check out the Kaminari site.. there's details on that there)

authentic Kaminari kits fit better than anything else on the market (well.. besides the FiveAxis lip kit.. which fits perfectly too)...

one of the reasons why they cost so much..

i know there is knockoffs but i went to the actual site and saw it, just wondering if anyone actually had it to tell me if it fit good and if it was accurate enough that there wasnt much modification needed.

Hi fella's. The fitment was pretty good. Definitely a good quality polyurethane kit.

Two things to look out for:

    1) When the sideskirts are installed I had a problem with the rear corner of the doors making contact. Do not tolerate that. Eventually the paint will chip and the plastic will crack under the repeat stress.

    2) The kit comes with a bright orange paper that says "DO NOT BAKE ABOVE XXX F Temperature." Make sure whatever shady~ass shop you bring it to obeys this (most dont give a crap about your input and will bake it higher than the max temp).

The past 2 times I got the front bumper painted, someone hit and ran me in a parking lot :( I'm sure they overcooked it. That will lead to possible warping and poor fitment.

Right now I face whether or not buy another kaminari front bumper or paint this one yet again because Dustin @ No Limit Motorsports on Long Island does not know how to put a low front wheel drive car on their dyno. (had to use extra ramps to get it on it and he hit the gas while the front wheels were on them...wtf?, the ramps were free floating and not attached to anything, car dropped on lip than cracking the paint)

Because my kit was improperly baked the fitment around the headlights has never been as good as I'd like. I believe this purely to be a bodyshop issue.

I'd recommend the kit as it really flows well with the car. I'm sure you will be lowered to achieve the optimum look. You WILL have to be very careful not to scrape the bumper/lip b/c not only is it low, it sticks out very far.

The spoiler I have is not kaminari, it is Viniati. I'd highly recommend the look. I love it. However, I'd definitely go for the new carbon fiber version as the fiberglass one is quite thin/weak.

Anything other questions/concerns feel free to hit me up anytime!

i do like the kaminari flush mount/lip spoiler though.. good lookin' thing.
