My girlfriend's 05 tC was recently sideswiped by a blue Kia minivan. The passenger's side mirror broke off and there was some paint transfer. I managed to take a warm, wet sponge and remove all the blue paint that transferred. Now I can see that there was actually very little damage to the car aside from some dents and dings. The finish is a little roughed up, nothing serious, so I'm pretty confident a good scratch remover would take care of it. The only ones I know of are GS27 and Mother's. How do these do? Any other suggestions?

    Do you have a D/A buffer/polisher???

If so, use a good quality micro fine scratch remover (make sure you wash it first to remove any loose dirt that can make the scratchs worse), and a polishing cream...myself I am a Mequier's guy. The main key here is to overlap the area by about an inch or two outside of the main scratchs, and to take your time. Light pressure, and consistant movement (to keep from damaging the paint). It should work out just fine.

Let me know how it works, and I will try to get more advice for you.

    also,

If you still have a dent or some kind of ding on your car and want to get PDR (paintless dent removal) done I recommend Dent Wizard...someone side-swiped my '08 ride with the door of their SUV left paint and a nice dent... I freaked, called dent wizard and they repaired the area to perfection for $149... One of the best companies out there... I highly recommend
