other than washing a couple times a week, there is a cleaner specific to bug debris. i think you can get it from pepboys etc. i know the dealerships use it cuz when i had my door repaired last summer, the toyota body shop did mine w/o me even asking! it looked brand flippin new! i mean it was immaculate! Uniontown, PA Toyota/Scion DA BOMB!!!

A good quality of wash helps the best, and once it is done make sure to use a good wax.....I recommend Mequiers or Mothers....oh and clean the paint after washing....a good paint cleaner will do. Plan on spending a good amount of time on doing it right.

To give a good example I usually spend 3-4 hours once a month on the car. The rest of the time is about 1-2 hours, just keeping it looking good, as good as white can look....lol

WD-40. It is the best bug remover in the world. If I am in between washes, and just have a couple little bugs, WD-40 is the way to go. NO joke it works wonders.

btw......if you use a dryer sheet after you get it wet......"gently" rub them off and it wont scratch your paint....

i agree with the wd-40 it works very well for bug splats and even if you have sap from trees on your car it gets it right out after a little rubbing:D
